it adds up...

sometimes i feel like i never get enough done. of course, that's mostly because i never get enough done. but... i'm surprised at how much i actually have put out. (this doesn't include "wednesday comics" or "fantasy cartooning", and of course i've also done design work for around 9 cartoons and 7 toy lines, and 2 video games, that aren't pictured either. i think there's a kids' book or two that i'm also forgetting. oh yeah, and a bunch of JLU and kid's book covers, and a SW clone wars comic. yikes, it really DOES add up.)

*edit -- here's what everything is. 3 of the smaller books were promotional sketchbooks, i handed them out at signings etc. the other 3 were pitchbooks for proposed cartoons a while back.

and here's the hardcover of WC.

I wish I had grabbed those Wonder Woman books while they were in print. I got one but they quickly went out of print and are pricey now.

Fantasy Cartooning is one of the many books that got me started into thinking about comics and cartoons, Just picked up the Odyssey and can't wait for the Wizard of Oz.

Nice collection of stuff. It's obvious tome that I've missed a few things. You'll have a table at comic-con this year, right?

hi all!

fabian - some of them were promo books that were long gone, but the sketchbooks are still around, i think. at bud plant's or stuart ng's or labyrinth (in canada). sadly, i have enough art for at least 4 more sketchbooks, i just haven't had the time to assemble it all.

erik - i think it officially came out yesterday.

le foosh - my wife gave away all my copies! and i'm sure not going to go to the store and pay for it. but if you like that, i'm still doing a manga book, too.

michael - i'm surprised at how much they are now. but a few months ago, someone was selling tons of them on ebay for a few bucks each, so i guess it's all timing. i wish they'd done more of those books -- there were also a few superman and batman books (jon j muth did the batman one, i think) that were very cool...

colton - thanks! oz is a real blast, because i can make things look like whatever the hell i want.

benton - nope. SDCC won't ever give me a table. they won't even give me tickets -- i was only able to get in last year through DC. alas!

That is some awesome stuff Ben! All to be proud of as well! I met you last year at SDCC and picked up DD #1 and #2 and I just loved them!!! They were so fantastic I wish they were as big as Ben's Seaweed comic so I could frame the DD spreads on my office wall.
Where do you sell your sketchbooks?
And how come you can't get a table at SDCC? Next year you need to come to the Calgary Comic Expo! You would kill at it.

I think its always good to take stock of what you have accomplished...artist don't tend to give themselves enough credit.

Just picked up the Odyssey btw, and it was pretty amazing
